Manufacturer and brand history

Since 1831, Bosca has seen the uncorking of its wines as a way of sharing, with skill and audacity, the enthusiasm of Italian sparkling wine with everyone. Anywhere, any time !

Toselli non-alcoholic wine is produced by Bosca, a Piedmontese company (Canelli - AT, Northern Italy) that has been producing quality bubbles since 1831 and for 6 generations: Pietro Bosca (1799-1831), Luigi Bosca (1843-1928), Carlo Bosca (1909) founding the US office, Luigi II Bosca (1911-1988 that at the beginning of the 70s officially passes the hand to his son Luigi III Bosca (1974) who died in 2014, Pia - Luigi IV and Polina Bosca (today). The combination of centuries of experience, modern production technology and Bosca's imagination resulted in the no-alcohol/low-alcohol brand IT'S B. Bosca was born out of a desire to create and narrate new ways of experiencing bubbles: easier, everyday and inclusive. Bosca means exploring like true pioneers. Since its foundation Bosca has adopted business practices governed by integrity, honesty, fairness and ethics, guaranteeing the safety of all and fully respecting the laws applicable in the countries where it operates, encouraging an ecological conscience. For Bosca exports continue to represent a significant commercial share, equal to 85% of the total company - with particular spread in the USA, Northern Europe, Russian Federation and Baltic countries - but the Italian market becomes the new frontier to explore. Bosca continuously strives to improve the environmental performance of all its production processes with the rational use of natural resources, minimising emissions and waste. Bosca considers food safety and the consequent protection of human health an inalienable duty, an ongoing commitment and a constant component of its mission.

Its wines also have Ḥalāl and Kosher certifications. At present, one of Bosca's great strengths is its studies on Ḥalāl products and Kosher parameters: with a view to production aimed at sharing the culture and pleasure of wine, Bosca has brought to the Muslim and Jewish world what for us Italians is a centuries-old tradition to which we must be attentive witnesses. Wine as a binder of cultures and as a sign of sharing: this is how we find Toselli Ḥalāl bubbles in the two 'White' and 'Red' versions, totally alcohol-free, produced with unfermented grape must and in compliance with the regulations of the Muslim world. Bubbles then, with all the peculiarities of the grapes used: acacia, honey and floral notes for Toselli White, a clear scent of red fruits for Toselli Red, perfect in combination with traditional Arab dishes, fresh goat cheeses but also traditional Italian desserts.
The Company's studies have also been conducted towards the Jewish world, extending the Kosher range to the Jewish Passover period. But that is not all. There have been numerous collaborations with the academic world, such as, for example, with the University of the Negev, in Israel, where the Company has developed special chemical studies on the 75 Muscat varieties in the Bosca Collection. Their bottles thus stand not only as an excellent example of high Italian production, but also as a symbol of a ritual of drinking that goes beyond cultures and crosses the most diverse traditions, giving bubbles new connotations and at the same time maintaining their most ancient vocation of celebrating sharing.

Innovation is also an integral partner of Bosca in the Multistap stopper on the bottle, the result of an exclusive patent that makes it possible to preserve the bubbles and 're-cork' the already opened bottle. With this stopper, all we have to do is close the bottle and put it back in the fridge and if we want to toast again the next day, it will make a new 'poof', preserving the integrity of the product.

Production process and dealcoholisation method

Toselli bubbles are obtained by softly crushing the grapes and keeping the must at low temperatures, implementing a micro-filtration process to prevent fermentation. This process, with no added sugar, guarantees a product that is always fresh and very natural.
